From Kitsap County, cross the Hood Canal Bridge and travel south to the small community of Quilcene. It’s nestled in the foot hills of the Olympic Mountains, on Hood Canal surrounding Quilcene Bay.
It offers a marina, antique stores, shops, shell fishing, camping, and hiking. With Olympic National Park and the Olympic National Forest at their back door, recreational opportunities are plentiful. The Big Quilcene River and the Little Quilcene River both flow through the town.
The Bolton Peninsula which projects South into Dabob Bay is considered part of Quilcene. The Bay formed between the mainland to the West and the Bolton Peninsual to the East is called Quilcene Bay, while the bay formed on the East side of the Bolton peninsula with Toandos Peninsula to the East is just part of Dabob Bay.
Dobob Bay is a special place with incredible beauty, natural wildlife. We hope you enjoy some photos we’ve shared here in an effort to capture some of this beauty.

The property I sold to Jay is a fabulous waterfront estate on Dabob Bay in Quilcene, WA. The property is just under 5 Acres and has nearly 300ft of medium bank waterfront with a beach that’s loaded with Oysters. In addition, the property has a very nice guest house that’s just under 900 Sq. Ft. and is fully furnished. They have converted it into a vacation rental, which is perfect if you want to plan a week-end get away, a special anniversary, romantic escape or a long vacation.
